He played in the Los Angeles Lakers NBA franchise for twenty seasons, between 1996 and 2016. Five-time NBA champion, he is one of seven players to have scored more than 30,000 career points. He is also a two-time Olympic champion with the United States team, in 2008 and 2012. He is considered one of the best basketball players of all time. The post has been present in Niger since the colonial period. Niger"s accession to international sovereignty on August 3, 1960 led to the creation of the Office of Posts and Telecommunications (OPT) by law n°70-78 of August 27, 1970. This status was maintained until 1996, the year separation of telecommunications activities from postal activities (following the days of reflection held in August and September 1992) by ordinance no. 96-28 of 6 June 1996 creating a public industrial and commercial establishment called the National Post and Savings Agency (ONPE). Then in 2006 the ONPE changed status to become a mixed economy company called Niger Poste. Law 2005-21 of June 28, 2005 authorizing the transformation of the ONPE into a mixed economy company offered this organization greater management autonomy in the exercise of its mission and established the opening of capital to the private sector.
